Founder – Ipsita Satapathy

Being a homemaker and raising two wonderful children has been the most meaningful part of my life. While taking care of my family, I always carried a quiet passion for fashion, fabrics, and creativity within me.

At the age of 47, I decided to follow that passion and took a bold step by enrolling in a two-year Fashion Designing course. It was a journey of learning, rediscovering myself, and proving that it is never too late to start something new.

After completing my studies, I founded Udiisha, a boutique that reflects my personal journey of courage, growth, and creativity. Every design at Udiisha is inspired by the idea that fashion should feel comfortable, timeless, and empowering.

Through Udiisha, my goal is simple — to create clothing that helps every woman feel confident, beautiful, and uniquely herself.

Co-Founder – Shailya Thapa

I spent nearly 15 years working with the Department of Women and Child Development under the Government of NCT of Delhi, contributing to programs that support and empower women and children. It was a deeply meaningful phase of my career that allowed me to work closely with communities and make a positive impact.

When my family relocated to Ahmedabad, I decided to step away from my professional role to focus on raising my daughter and supporting my family during this transition.

Now, with my daughter pursuing her higher studies, I felt ready to begin a new chapter in my life. While the idea of starting something new felt uncertain at first, my long-standing appreciation for minimalistic, comfortable fashion inspired me to take that step.

Together with a friend trained in fashion design, I co-founded Udiisha — a brand built on the idea of creating timeless, breathable pieces that allow women to feel confident, comfortable, and effortlessly themselves.

Our shared love for simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed clothing brought us together. What started as conversations about fabrics, silhouettes, and everyday fashion slowly turned into a bigger idea — building a brand that celebrates effortless style and timeless designs.

That idea became Udiisha.
